When Mia was a young girl,she played many kinds of sports,but soccer was her favorite sport.
Mia was both quick and strong."As far back i can remember"Mia says "I played soccer all the time at recess in grade school.
she started to play soccer when she was 5 years old ever since she has been playing.
At 14 years old,Mia was an outstanding soccer player.she joined her first girls soccer team which traveled to different places.
She made the girls varsity team in high school.The all girls team had the best players in Texas.
They notice Mia for her leader ship,her skills and her hard work.
She was invited to try out for the Team U.S.A. In 1987 Mia became the youngest american women to play international soccer game.
She is a perfect role model for soccer and other sports.
She does not give up on things that she likes.
People loved her because the way she plays and how she works with her teammates.
