Immediately following his hit single "3am," E Bleu reveals an eye-opening dimension to his sound with the recent collaboration with Derez De'Shon on the remix of "3am."
The Houston-bred artist first started making waves in the music industry a decade ago, launching a duo with BROCKHAMPTON front-man Kevin Abstract. At 22, he independently released “Me Time,” catching the attention of Shawn Barron of Motown and 2EZ Recordings. The record quickly manifested into a remix with Eric Bellinger and 24hrs.
Two years later, the 24-year-old artist finally released his highly anticipated singles “Action" & "Sit Right," marking the start of his return, a realization of years of patience, intent, and hard work.
The release of "3am" a couple of months later brought fans an authentic glimpse into E’s consciousness and the in-the-moment energy that’s keeps him moving. Showcasing his natural storytelling ability and providing something relatable to most, “3am” is the first single off of E Bleu’s upcoming EP. With no shortage of quotable lyrics and a contagious pace continuing throughout, "3am" pays homage to his hometown Houston, showcasing a freshly-inspired E.
On the making of the remix and how it came together, E had this to say about his brother Derez:
I’m big on things like this happening organically. It started with Derez genuinely liking the song and showing me love just off that. I stopped in ATL for tour a few weeks back and the rest is history. We left the studio at like 8am lol. Bro is one of the most solid people in this music sh**
