Worship

Psalms 139:13-16 - For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Worship: Give God the praise he deserves for making you with such wonderful detail and creativity. He should get the glory for this.

Remember

Genesis 1:26-28 - Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

Remember: You are set apart from all creation by being made in the image of God. You are the crown of his creation. God also gave you a role of partnership with him in ruling over creation. That’s pretty significant!

Believe

John 1:14 - The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Believe: God housed himself in bodily form. He became one of us. Take a moment to think about the absolute humility of Jesus.

Surrender

Ephesians 1:3-6 - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will– to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

Surrender: Do you realize that God was thinking about you before the creation of the world? You are not an after-thought. Surrender your view of yourself to God's perfect view.

Do you believe that you are the crown of God's creation? What do you do with this privilege?

Take a moment to thank God for how he made you. Commit to living as the crown of his creation.
