Holy Spirit Noah hunter

There are many ways that the Holy Spirit guides and influences us in the church today but I believe an important way is through the Bible. All christians and followers of God use the Bible as the number one source and guide for them to follow. The Bible supplies us with a numerous amount of stories and teachings that guide humans through everyday life.

The Bible is currently the worlds top selling book and has sold over 3 billion copies, which gives reason to believe has created a great deal of christians in the process.

Mathew 12:30 NIV "And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven."

The Holy Spirit lives on through all of the church officials and workers of the church, who help the church function as a whole to become a house of God. The Holy Spirit is a very important asset of the church

Mathew 12-31

"Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."

Another way the Holy Spirit works in the church is through the Eucharist. This meal celebrates Jesus last supper and is practiced through churches throughout the world. This keeps Jesus's teachings going through the Holy Spirit . Although it may seem like ordinary bread and wine the meal holds great value to all christians. http://www.explorefaith.org/eucharist.html
The Holy Spirit helps humans to gain redemption, righteousness, and salvation through Jesus. This is why the apostles held great concern for the Holy Spirit as well as all members of the church today.

Reflection

This project made me realize how important the holy spirit is, and gave me ways I could be guided THROUGH it. The Holy Spirit is a huge part of the church, and is essential to all christians. Doing this individual project, I noticed that it is more difficult then group projects obviously as you have to become more familiar with a variety of topics, as oppose to doing a group you may have only one part you have to know well.
