This is Indiana State. Welcome home, Sycamore ;)

COLOR YOUR WORLD

Innovative programs. Hands-on learning. Serious opportunities for you to succeed. All on a campus with the most diverse residential student population in Indiana.

BLUE IS ALL ABOUT YOU.

Big enough to soar. Small enough to support. That's what our students say about their Indiana State experiences. You'll be able to customize your education to fit your dream.

10,000+ Students From

55 States and Territories

65+ Countries

Think: Mind-expanding classes.

Stranger Things. The Twilight Zone. Disney. Just a few of the eye-opening experiences your professors will use to explore real-world problems and opportunities.

Employers love BLUE.

And happily hire our graduates. In fact, Sycamores enjoy a 99% placement rate.

Many employers also provide internships, attend job fairs, and generally rave about their sensational Sycamore hires. You can find State grads working everywhere from Teach for America to Riley Hospital for Children. They're Olympians. (Go USA!) Oh, and Emmy and Grammy winners, too.

Meet your Professors: Linda Maule - Dean of University College

Linda Maule loves Wonder Woman - which makes sense because she is sort of a super hero herself. Whether she's sharing words of encouragement with her dog Lili, or helping first- year students navigate college life, she'll always have your back.

Dr. Maule, like all of your future professors, is here to inspire and mentor you. To open doors you never knew existed. And to bring snacks to study sessions.

Affordable and Flexible

You’ve got options! Start your exploration with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as “FAFSA”. File your FAFSA as early as October 1, 2020, to be first in line to receive your financial aid packet. At Indiana State, you could be eligible for federal grants (free money), loans (borrowed money) or work-study (earned money from part-time work) to cover expenses. Indiana residents must meet the state deadlines of April 15, 2021. File early to avoid processing delays!

You may be surprised at the scale and scope of scholarship funds available at Indiana State. Indiana State awards more than $16 million in scholarships annually. And another $7.1 million in grants. At Indiana State University, our average financial aid offer is over $11,000 per year. Indiana State will set you up for success - without breaking the bank.

Travis Eckert, Unmanned Systems and Aviation Management, GR '19

They say it’s best to keep your feet on the ground, but that’s never worked well for Travis Eckert.

While at Indiana State, he started his own drone photography business. He earned his private pilot's license. He was even deployed to Afghanistan when his reserve unit was called up to active duty, but he never fell behind on his coursework.

Indiana State helped Travis's dreams take off - and we'll help you soar, too.

AJ Patton, Finance and Financial Management Services, GR '09

State grads have the power to change the world - and they do! Take AJ Patton, who founded 548 Capital with two other Indiana State alums. Their energy is providing sustainable housing opportunities for low-income families in Chicago.

AJ's building a better future for his neighborhood, all while using skills he learned at State.
