Mirror Week

With Gung-Ho done and dusted, we are looking forward to transition into the next week on the road to discover authenticity. On the camp we got to experience that we saw that we were made to function within a community and that the road of discovery is not meant to be walked alone.

"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." - 2 Cor 3:18

In Foundations we aim to explore and gain a better understanding of kingdom concepts such as repentance and confession. We explore the meaning and implication of true faith. What the word says about what is worship and a lifestyle of worship.

'For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.' Ephesians 2:10(AMP)

Jesus has given us the truth of God's heart. We need to look in the mirror (the Word of God) to give us the position of our lives. We will live from that perspective and in our circumstances change so that even those around us will see the glory of God manifesting through our lives.

The ultimate outcomes for this week is to understand that we have an inheritance through Christ that will impact this world to the Glory of God. We were made to be in relationship with our Father and through this week's conversation we will explore the ways in how we build that relationship.

We hope that you as a family, you will have great discussions. Here are some topics which opened in our hearts for this week:

  • How do you connect with God in a personal relationship?
  • What will be your family's spiritual disciplines to grow in spiritual maturity?
  • How do we as a family understand faith and what do we, as a family, have faith for in 2018?

I hope that these insights will stir you to pursue more of God's Kingdom. May you have a blessed week.
