Albert Einstein was a theoretical physicist and the most famous scientist in human history. He developed the general theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics, alongside quantum mechanics. Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1879. As a kid he was very interested in the mysteries of science and math. Einstein also took music lessons, playing both violin and piano; stoking a passion for music that he maintained throughout his life. Einstein emigrated to the United States in 1933. He accepted a professorship in Princeton, New Jersey at the prestigious institute for Advanced Study. He remained active in scientific, political and social matters until he passed away in 1955 at the age of 76. He was also offered the presidency of a country. Einstein even had a part in creating the first atom bomb. His role was that he sent a letter to the President of the US urging that the bomb must be built.
