1) Siam park & loro parque

Siam park a very fun waterpark. If you are a child, teenager or a young adult. This is the best place to visit in Tenerife. this waterpark is one of the world's number 1 waterpark. It is around 51 euros for a adult ticket, although it might be expensive it is totally worth the money. Loro parque is a zoo with many animals to see. they have many animal shows ect to watch and enjoy. you can buy a twin ticket for both siam park and loro parque.

2) Beaches

Tenerife has a range of beautiful beaches to relax on some of which are sand and some are rocky. The beaches are kept clean and tidy and picnic friendly some of theses are also pet friendly. Some of the best beaches to visit are Fanabe, Los Cristiano or El Medano. Some beaches are artificial and so have yellow sand and look nicer than the black beaches that are the natural ones on Tenerife.

3)Mount Teide

Tenerife has a volcano called Teide. you can climb it or get a cable car to the top of the volcano. the views are amazing from the top and have Its 3,718-metre summit is the highest point. Millions of years ago a volcano exploded and left behind a 16km-wide crater and on its northern edge smaller volcano - Mount Teide. The whole area is now a weird volcanic landscape filled with lava rocks, lava streams and ash beds.It is also the third tallest volcano in the world.

4) Visit the capital - santa de cruz

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital of Tenerife. It is on the north-east coast of the island. Santa Cruz's main beach is 'Las Teresitas' which is a fine golden beach courtesy of millions of tonnes of sand from the Sahara desert. With palm trees and a back-drop of the Anaga mountains it is the most beautiful beach on Tenerife.The Plaza de Espana is the heart of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and is the biggest Plaza on the Canary Islands. It is a lively and attractive square located near to the harbour and the Auditorio. The Mercado de Nuestra Senora de Africa is a lively bazaar and food market worth heading for in the mornings.

5) tenerife festivals

Carnival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the second biggest in the World after Rio de Janiero.Carnival always takes place in February or March and in Santa Cruz de Tenerife it is the biggest Carnival in Europe and second biggest in the world. It is hoping to gain UNESCO World Heritage status such is its importance. Carnaval begins with the election of a queen of the carnival and an opening day parade on the Friday before Carnival and then street parties and Latin American dancing continue until Shrove Tuesday when there is an enormous and very elaborate parade. On Ash Wednesday there is the burial of a huge fake sardine and this is the official end to the festivities. Carnival costumes are simply stunning and if you can it is well worth timing your visit to coincide with this enormous fiesta. Thousands of people come every year to dress up and join in the fun.
