Oppressive classroom environments can have negative repercussions on students. which can cause: rebelliousness, disrespect, and decrease learning opportunities.

Lack of verbal and physical affirmation from teachers with in school decreases a students self-efficacy.

If student affirmation is taught to teachers and faculty, it will decrease expulsions, dropouts, and truancies. Ultimately, bettering the students.

Hand-in-hand verbal affirmation from staff with in a school will overall has a posotive effect on the student body of urban school systems.
