What is the USB type C
The USB type C is the newest of the 3 USB ports. It is said that it will replace both USB type A and B. It is a slim rectangular port that takes up less space on a computer case than any other USB port in width.
What devices use USB type C ports?
USB type C ports are commonly used by chargers and phone connectors. Currently, they are mainly found on apple devices such as MacBooks.
The USB type C ports are still being developed but may replace USB type A and B in the future
