MAC News - Term 4 Dates tERM 4 wEEK 1

Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Welcome back for Term 4, I hope that you and your families have had an opportunity to rest and re-charge over the spring holiday break.

A very special welcome to the new students that have joined us this week. I hope you will soon feel at home here at Macarthur Adventist College.

Term 4 is traditionally a shorter term being only 8 weeks long, and also a very busy one with many end-of-year examinations, celebrations and various excursions and assemblies. This Newsletter will have all the important dates for both Primary and Secondary events, so please make sure that you note these down. Our College website also has an updated Calendar for Term 4, which you can view here.

On Thursday this week, our Year 12 cohort began their HSC examinations. This can be a stressful time and our students would undoubtedly appreciate your prayerful support. Please pray that they are able to remain calm and concentrate during each exam, for clarity to recall what they have studied and that they will feel God’s peace and comfort during this time.

With such a busy term ahead of us, please make sure to stay up to date by checking our College Calendar here, our Facebook page here and making sure that the office has your correct mobile number so that we are able to send you reminders of upcoming events.

As a school we are proud to say that through our awesome students, families and community we have been able to raise $5033 for the Heart Foundation. This is truly amazing and is a great indicator as to how generous our students have been with their time fundraising and their time being active.
