French Onion Soup Recipe 4 servings, Prep: 15 min, Cook : 40 min

Ingredients :

- 4 large onions

- 100g grated Gruyère

- 4 slices of country bread

- 1l of chicken stock

- 20g butter

- 1 tbsp flour

- Salt and pepper

Directions :

- peel and slice the onions

- Melt butter in a large pot, add the onions and cook them until golden. Sprinkle with the flour and cook for 30s.

- Season to taste with salt and pepper and add the chicken stock. Cover and simmer for 30 min.

- Ladle the soup in 4 heatproof bowls

- Put a slice of bread on each bowl and pile on the cheese. Gril until melted
