FOLKLORE Folklore is the traditional beliefs,CUSTOMS,and stories of a community, passed through generations by word of mouth.

Fairy Tale:Story of Magic,monsters, and/or talking animals.

Fable: A very short story,usually with talking animals and has a moral.

Mythology: Has gods and goddesses and often accounts for the creation of something.

Tall Tale:Based on something that might have once been real.

Legend:Stories usually set in American frontier. The tone of the author is humorous.

Our genre is different than others because it leaves you an everyday life lesson while still having an enjoyable and fantastic story.

Because it's funny,it teaches you life lessons and some of them can show you more about other countries' cultures.

Reading with your parents might help understand the moral of the story better.
