My New Red Shoes’ Clothing for Confidence Program provides homeless and low-income students in grades K–12 with new shoes and clothing for the school year.
MNRS reaches the homeless and low-income children we serve by partnering with schools, homeless shelters, transitional housing programs, domestic shelters, case management agencies and other community based child-serving organizations.
Each year, we collect thousands of new shoe donations from shoe drives led by individual donors, community groups and corporate teams. To ensure that we have the variety of shoe sizes and styles that every student requests, we supplement our inventory with wholesale shoe purchases as needed.
Annually, we leverage partnerships with local and national retailers, including Old Navy, to provide children and youth with the opportunity to shop for new school clothes.
