CHANGE THE CAMPUS CHANGE THE WORLD

"My name is April Villadiego, 4th year student, taking up Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education major in MAPEH. Before I met Christ, there were season wherein I try to get affection and love from other people. Since I came from a broken family, I always felt that kind of emptiness and longing to be loved that no matter what I tried to fill it up, still something is wrong. At some point in time, I try to seek love towards other people. I thought they can fill me up with that love I am seeking for. I thought they can cover up the hole I have in my heart. But it always ends to disappointment and frustration. I can feel the loneliness, the façade, the bitterness and even the insecurities that I have. I felt that incompleteness. Every part of me was broken."

With her LIFE coach and mentor, Lyan Rivera.

"When I enter college, I was invited to attend youth service. There I met Jesus; I felt that I need Him in my life. I felt that change occurring in my life. I learned different things that I once never do. He taught me a lot of things and still He is teaching me. One thing I love the most about Jesus is that He first love me when I couldn't even love myself. Understanding what He did for me on the cross made me realize how unworthy and undeserving I am yet he still chose to love me. I found the joy that can complete me and satisfy me, the love that endures forever, and the love that is unfailing."

God enable her to lead these ladies to know the freedom they have in Jesus Chirst.

"I am grateful for His faithfulness for the past four years in my life as a student. Now that I am about to transition from student to young professional, as a future teacher, I am excited to do the work of Christ in the campus I’ll be working in. I am still looking forward to honor Him and make disciples to campuses, reach out students and raise them as leaders. (Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always, to the end of the ages. – Matt. 29:19-20)"

April will be a MAPEH teacher in Lucban Academy, one of our High School campuses here in Lucban this school year 2017-2018.
