Camp Architecture FUTURE BUILDING 2016 UA College of Architecture Planning & Landscape Architecture

We've had a great summer at The University of Arizona's College of Architecture Planning and Landscape Architecture's Camp Architecture. We've witnessed lots of discovery, lots of creativity, and lots of DESIGN!

Camp Architecture is a series of week-long summer day programs designed for students interested in the field of architecture. Participants learn to draw by hand and on the computer, construct models in the CAPLA Materials Lab, test structures, and learn about sustainability and careers in the design field. Taught by our inspiring young architects at the School of Architecture, with support of outstanding student assistants, aspiring architects will get a unique glimpse into the world of design while acquiring skills unavailable outside a college setting.

Camp Architecture is a five-day sequence of highly orchestrated workshops. The dates for summer 2017 have just been announced. Weekly camps start on Mondays. Sessions begin June 5th & 19th for middle school students and on June 12th and 26th for high school students.

At Camp Architecture students learn to see...
...and learn to draw.
Students experience the limits of real materials...
...and then, of course, they build...

We hope you will plan to join us next year at Camp Architecture 2017 for another chance to DISCOVER, CREATE and DESIGN. Come build your future at the University of Arizona College of Architecture Planning and Landscape Architecture
