In the world of instrumental hip-hop where it seems like everything is a secret, Chris Wilkes a.k.a. STLNDRMS (pronounced Stolen Drums) has built a career by sharing his knowledge with others. By Live streaming his creative process and teaching deep dives on the ins and outs of his business on a regular basis, he continues to achieve remarkable results by "creating with the homies.”

He is an example of what the future of the independent artists could look like. Within a few years of his first upload on Spotify, STLNDRMS played the biggest hip-hop festival on the planet ("A3C"), One of the largest festivals in the world SXSW, performed at stadiums ("Art, Beats & Lyrics") the Mercedes Benz and Atlanta Hawks stadiums in Atlanta, Ga), got the cover of Spotify's lofi hip-hop playlist, Ran up over 10 million music streams. Played the world famous Low End Theory, Beat Cinema & NAMM in LA, Managed to co-found the "Controllerise" event series, Tour Japan, Create an online live stream radio show "Beats+Chill", Start an online producer community (Sidechain Society) and made a name for himself as a sound designer creating sample packs for producers.
