Quadratic Functions in the Real World

Point A (-12, 3) Point B (-11, 4) Point C (-9.5, 5) Point D (-7, 7) Point E (5, 4). I used these points to calculate my regression line equation in my calculator. y= (-.06x^2)+(-.36x)+7.3

I used my regression equation to predict the height of the parabola when x = 1 on my coordinate plan. y= -.06(1)^2+ -.36(1)+7.3 (1, 6.88)

y=2x^2-5x-3
