Why?

  • Developing an online course for a larger number of students offers special challenges under normal circumstances.
  • You may need additional resources, strategies, and support specifically for your course.
  • UTSA’s commitment to a quality online experience for students and faculty.
  • Assurance of accessibility for all students.

NOTE: Data about enrollments and instructor of records are from ASAP, and includes classes with more than 100 seats. Actual enrollment may be lower.

Includes:

  1. This introductory webinar to introduce you to the initiative.
  2. A separate Blackboard shell to centralize resources, examples, and tools to aid you in designing your course.
  3. Three consultations (individuals or groups of faculty) between now and mid-June.
  4. Includes TAs, co-instructors, lab assistants, and multiple sections taught by different instructors that might need consistency.
  5. Quality Matters and accessibility reviews of your online course as it is being developed.
