Tonkawa

Tonkawa is defined as a language isolate (i.e., we don't know what family it comes from). According to Ethnologue, this language is considered dormant: "The language serves as a reminder of heritage identity for an ethnic community, but no one has more than symbolic proficiency." (Ethnologue)
