Zephyr Lift

As you climb up Winter Park's largest lift, Zephyr Lift, the small, skiers town of Winter Park, CO comes into full view. The ski-in-ski-out hotels and the parking lots filled with 4X4 SUV's are cramped in the valley, surrounded by the expansive, snow covered mountains that make pupils dilate as you sip your morning coffee, dreaming about your day's ski runs. Zephyr Lift is a six person express lift that speedily takes a high volume of skier and snowboarders up to the top of some of the most diverse trails in all of Colorado.

As you start your day, heading up your first couple of lifts trying to plan your runs, you can see the intermediate-to-advanced trail complex, Mary Jane, filled with Blue, Blue/Black, Black, and Extreme trail runs, guaranteed to satisfy the most intense thrill-seekers. With three of its own complex-specific lifts, skier and snowboarders here will never be stuck in a line. This is the ideal trail complex for those looking to pack in a full day of challenging runs and amazing thrill.

Off to your immediate right, Vasquez Ridge Complex calls those skiers and snowboarders looking for groomed, intermediate runs that offer safe, controlled excitement. Vasquez Ridge offers the best step-up from your newly-mastered bunny slopes and easy greens. With one complex-specific express lift, taking you to the top of Vasquez ridge, skier and borders are met with a pristine view of the Winter Park Valley and its surrounds mountain ranges. With controlled fun and stunning views, skier and snowboarders alike find it hard to leave this complex.

Amid the frozen, perfect white snow, the dark trees lightly dusted with fresh snowflakes perfectly mirrors the dark skiers chasing down the bright reflection of the frozen water. Winter Park Ski Resort hosts a variety of seasonal tourists and veteran homesteaders, diversifying the skiing terrain and experience.

Through the lens of black and white, Winter Park Ski Resort is transformed into a new world, where snow and people contrast like the bunny-slope skiers and the extreme terrain thrill-seekers.
Views from around the park. Iconic landscapes and interesting perspectives litter the diversity of Winter Park's six trail complexes. No two runs are the same, and no two days ever compare.

As the day draws to a close, ski right into your hotel room for a relaxing end of day nap, and then walk just around the corner and enjoy the delicious variety of food shops, ranging from Pedaler's Pizza, Lime Mexican Cantina, and Goodys Mountain Cafe and Creperie.
