Non-Fiction is prose writing that is based on facts, real events, and real people.

What is the Purpose of Non-Fiction?

The purpose of non-fiction is to teach and explain information.


Some examples are newspapers, cookbooks, autobiographies, dictionaries and some books.

What is the difference between Fiction and Non-Fiction?

Non-Fiction is real, talks about facts, and you read them to learn. Fiction is not true, tells a story, and you read them to enjoy!

Some features include graphs, photos, a table of context, glossary, index and much more!

How it helps our lives.

They can help us with everyday tasks, and teach us information we need to know.
