Upcoming Events & Clubs ~ Volunteers Needed
The Great Shelby Holmes Book Club is for students ALREADY registered. We meet three times in December.

UPDATE: As of December 15, 2017, we do not have a volunteer for the 3D Printing Club.

UPDATE: As of December 15, 2017, we have volunteers for the Girl Power 2.0 after-school club. More details to come the first week of January.

McKinney Education Foundation Grants

On December 1, Mrs. Stallbaumer was awarded 2 MEF grants that will benefit Bennett Students.

  • $600 for Girl Power 2.0 Empowering Girls to be STEM Leaders
  • $3450 for¬†Building Background Knowledge and Vocabularies with Google Expeditions

1st-5th Braum's Book Buddy Program

K-2 Texas 2X2 Reading Challenge

The Bennett Learning Commons has ONE copy of each book. We ask that parents, students, and teachers only check out ONE book per visit and that 2X2 books are returned in a timely manner to allow all of our Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grades an equal opportunity to read the books and complete the challenge.

K-2 Texas 2X2 Wall of Fame

Congratulations to our latest Texas 2X2 Wall of Fame All Star Readers. These students have read all 20 books.
