Purifying the Mississippi River Cleaning is more than making it look "pretty"

Vicksburg is a major city in Mississippi that should focus on cleaning the pollution in the Mississippi River.

Mercury Pollution has become a major problem in the Mississippi River.

The coal power plants are to blame as they are the main industrial source of the problem.

Mercury pollution not only affects the look or attractiveness of the river, but it also affects the fish and people. The mercury gets into the fish and if fished out to be eaten, the mercury gets into the bodies of humans beings which would get them sick as well.
