Yet another informational and inspirational LinkUp Lunch hosted by Sears Holdings Corporation's Associate Military Support Network.

This month the AMSN focuses on how to serve. This LinkUp Lunch highlighted several events coming up this summer and ways to support the AMSN and the veterans in our communities.

Interested in getting involved and not sure how? CONTACT our Community Engagement chair, CATHY HOGG at (Cathy.Hogg@searshc.com) to get more information or sign up for the Sears teams for any of these events.

Our featured community partner for the month is Travis Manion Foundation. An organization founded by the family of Travis Manion, a post 9/11 veteran in the Marine corps as a part of the 1st Iraqi Military Transition Team. Travis was killed in combat in 2007 as he was attempting to save two other members of his team. His family carries on in his honor and in spirit of his motto "If not me, then WHO."

Albie Masland of the Travis Manion Foundation joined us today to talk about their mission to empower veterans and the families of the fallen to develop character in future generations through veteran transition workshops, character development for youth groups, and many other community outreach programs to engage and support veterans across the country.
