Men's Golf
College of Charleston shot a league-record 14-under par during the opening round breaking a 15-year-old CAA Championship record. At the end of the first round CofC's Parker Derby and Towson freshman Spencer Alexander were tied for the individual lead at 6-under par.
An exciting Sunday saw the individual medalist come down to the final group at the last hole. CofC's Parker Derby, UNCW's Reese McFarlane, and Towson's Spencer Alexander were all tied as they reached the final hole. Derby sank a 15-foot putt to birdie the hole and take home medalist honors.
MEN'S TENNIS
Top-seeded UNCW got past No. 4 College of Charleston, 4-2, and No. 3 William & Mary knocked off No. 2 Elon, 4-1 in semifinal action to advance to the #CAAChamps title match
The Seahawks came out on top on Championship Sunday with a hard-fought 4-2 victory over No. 3 William & Mary. The win was the fifth CAA title for UNCW in the past nine years.
Women's Tennis
Back-to-back upset wins for No.6 UNCW! After taking down No. 3 College of Charleston in the quarterfinals the Seahawks came back on Saturday and knocked off No.2 Elon to advance to the #CAAChamps Title match! Top-seeded William & Mary rallied past No. 4 James Madison, 4-1 to claim their spot in the Championship match.
