Cal Men's Basketball vs. San Diego State November 21, 2016

The Golden Bears took on the San Diego State Aztecs in a neutral site matchup at the new Golden 1 Center. The Bears lost their first game of the season, losing to the Aztecs 77-65.

The Bears' cold start and 16 turnovers plagued the team throughout the game, who was unable to grab the victory despite out-rebounding the Aztecs 50-37.

The Bears welcomed back Ivan Rabb, who in his season debut dropped a double-double in 30 minutes of play (19 points, 11 rebounds).

The other stars of the night included Kameron Rooks with a career high 4 blocks, and Charlie Moore, who tallied 17 points. Grant Mullins made his return after missing one game due to injury, tallying 6 points in 30 minutes of play.

The Bears vs. Aztecs game was part of a doubleheader at the brand-new Golden 1 Center, which will play host to several NCAA Tournament games in the coming seasons

The Bears' next game is on November 25 at home vs. Wyoming.
