Athletes Finishing College By Conner Cornwell

For some kids basketball is all they had growing up, which can be a gateway to their future.

College basketball players can use their basketball gift to attain a college degree while they have the opportunity.

The commissioner of NCAA, Mark Emmert, should encourage college basketball players to get a degree before going to the NBA, as a college education is extremely important.

Athletes may never know when their playing careers may end, so if they have a college degree then they will have something to fall back on if their athletic career is ended early.

With the encouragement from the NCAA and coaches an athlete will see the importance of a college degree.
