Storms and a rainbow from Fort DeSoto STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY ROBERT NEFF

Oct. 14, 2017. Was on an late afternoon walkabout at Fort DeSoto. Was at Bunce's Pass around 5 PM.

Rainbow was struggling to form. Hurricane Irma had cut the dunes and left a line of seaweed
Clouds took a bite out of the middle.
The storms were intense.
But Fort DeDoto was sunny with storms all around us.
Winds were ruff so smaller boats were close to shore at Bunce's Pass.
Started walking back and came across two crab shells.
That storm was approximately 60 miles away, just south of Sarasota.
