The Raven By edgar allan poe

The Raven was written by Edgar Allan Poe. The meaning of this poem is that a lonely man is trying to distract himself from the thought of the death of his beloved Lenore by reading, but as a raven perches itself on his windowsill, he asks if he will ever see Lenore again, to which it replies, "Nevermore".
