Media Kit Journal of a Christian Sportsman

What is JCS?

Journal of a Christian Sportsman is a web-based resource that provides Outdoorsmen with reliable Biblical and Heritage Sports insight. Our mission is to help Christian men and women enjoy union with Christ, mature in their walk with God, and excel in the outdoor lifestyle.

Where it all Began...

JCS began when Editor-in-Chief Jim Richman and his wife Christy felt God's call to step from the pastorate to the work of reaching and discipling sportsmen.

Sudden Growth

Since 2015, Jim's passion for writing and speaking has continued to grow. Some of Jim's work has been featured in Christian Sportsman Magazine, Huntinglife.com, Outdooorsinternational.com, and BeautifulChristianLife.com. Jim has also spoken at various sportsmen's events and has been a guest on the Rooted Outdoors Podcast.

Living the Greatest Adventure Conference

As JCS was in its infancy, a bigger vision developed. 2017 marked the launch of the first-ever Living the Greatest Adventure Conference. 21 Men from various churches gathered to worship, fellowship, encourage one another, and discover how following Jesus is, in fact, life's greatest adventure.

The Future

In 2018, JCS will be expanding dramatically. Through bringing on new writers, fresh content, growing our social media presence, video utilization, and scheduling new speaking events, we seek to reach an even larger number of Christian Sportsmen.

Will You Join Us?

Discipling Sportsmen in today's cultural climate is an uphill journey. We are consistently looking for outdoor writers, financial support, prayer warriors, and opportunities to minister. If you would like more information about any of these things, please contact Jim Richman at jim@journalofachristiansportsman.com
