  • 2/12 - 3/7/21: Read-A-thon

SPIRIT NIGHT - Join us TODAY, January 27th! It's MOD Pizza time from 10:30am - 9:00pm. Enjoy pizza pie while helping us raise 20% of total sales, located at 5355 E. Carefree Hwy.

Val-O-Grams – Coming February 1st PTO will be selling Val-O-Grams for Valentine’s Day. Send a Val-O-Gram to someone you care about! Order forms will be coming home on the 1st in your child’s back pack. XOXO

Read-A-Thon - Grab some books and get ready to read! Look Whooo's Reading is coming your way. The students will be happy to know that even though there won't be an Owl Store, there will still be plenty of great incentive including weekly raffle baskets, prizes and much much more! More information to come.

Teacher's Lounge - We've received so much positive feedback and thanks that we've decided to keep the teacher's lounge stocked all year long! Of course, we can't do it on our own so we will be reaching out periodically for help from you all. A little bit goes a long way! Thank you!

Looking for Yearbook Volunteer - The yearbook committee is seeking someone organized who can donate one hour (sometimes less) a week sorting and tagging digital files and images for the year book. Familiarity with teachers (name/grades a plus but not essential). There will be one or two weeks during the remainder of the school year where more time will be needed for specific yearbook projects. Roadrunners are Respectful, Responsible, & Kind

This month, our school wide theme is empathy. We’ll be reminding students to have empathy, identify their own and others’ feelings, notice and respect the same and different feelings, and show compassion. When students can identify, understand, and respond in a caring way to how someone else is feeling, it helps create a positive and accepting school climate.

You can extend this idea at home by talking about your own feelings and modeling empathy for others.
