Art and Core Values

I also saw a seated Bodhisattva in the museum. "A Bodhisattva is a merciful Buddhist saint and savior, a Buddha-to-be who refrains from entering enlightenment out of compassion for all others striving to reach the same goal. " This Bodhisattva is seated in the lotus position, and his hands display the abhaya mudra (gesture of fearlessness; right hand) and the varada mudra (gift-bestowing gesture; left hand).

The Buddha sits there, being lost in thoughts and meditating. It gives me an edification that we should meditate in our life just like the Buddha. We need some time in life to think and celebrate, so and we can remember those important time and go on our life.
