As a result, you may put your own health & wellbeing at the bottom of the to-do list, have 20 or more pounds you’re consistently saying you need to shed but never do, have a secret stash of candy bars at your desk that moonlight for lunch, can fall asleep standing up, and when you do have a window for a little “me time” struggle with guilt and panic over needing to spend it productively, rather than at a spa or (gasp) in bed!

At an unconscious level, you may feel like you aren’t worth it.

The undeniable truth is that when you STOP making this an “either or”, you begin to feel better, look better, and actually you might even accelerate your performance in your career, business & relationships.

While at Lake Las Vegas you will:

  • Reconnect to your health and gain clarity on what is holding you back from true success.
  • Write your own definition of health. One that is a marriage between self-discipline and self-respect, includes a mindset that fosters growth through consistent habits, and is sustainable for your lifestyle.
  • Develop awareness around nutrition and what your body needs, by zeroing in on what you crave (with food and in all areas of your life).
  • Receive one-on-one coaching, where you will co-create your personal action plan that sets you up for success long after you've left the retreat.
  • Learn how to transition from rigidity to flexibility (in your body, in your mind, in your behaviors and in your relationships).
  • Amplify your sense of worthiness and self-esteem (and release any limiting beliefs and stories that are no longer serving you).
  • Understand the connection between stress – sleep – food – exercise, and what that means for you.
  • Design a plan to close the gap between how you feel now and how you want to feel in this season of life.

You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to move your body, both on land and water:

  • Detox to Retox: An inspiring yoga session followed by wine (with Real Results)
  • Morning Workout: Get your blood pumping with a group workout that will push you to test the marriage between self-discipline and self-respect
  • Stand Up Paddleboarding: An opportunity to float or work on balance in a beautiful setting

I’m Kelly Travis. For two decades I struggled with those very things. I was a competitive runner, a successful publisher & marketing director, and hyper focused on excelling in all areas. Then, within 20 months, I had two happy surprises (I mean kids), and in less than 3 years I powered through two cross-country moves, and got divorced. The thing that kept me going (most of the time) was my ability to integrate my work with my life. But, more than that - keep my health at the top of priority list.

Gaining self-awareness is where it began. Once I did, I discovered that my health is comprised of more than what I eat and how I move. I learned that if I want to continue to be a powerful career woman (and mom), I can't ignore the other stuff. And, if I want to be healthy, I need to put things into action.

Pretty soon everything changed – from sleeping and eating habits, to relationships and major mindset shifts– including an attitude adjustment. I gave myself permission to make some big (scary) decisions. I started giving myself more grace so that the hustle really counted. And, I gained clarity on what was holding me back from achieving true success in health & life. I realized that living life like it has to be “either or” can be limiting and can lead to self-sabotage.

Today, I work with high performing professionals and entrepreneurs to help them prioritize their health. I help individuals, groups and organizations through one-on-one coaching, group sessions and corporate wellness programs. Through workshops and retreats, I cultivate communities of people that you don’t necessarily get to meet on your own.

The pressures we put on ourselves to perform limit our full potential. Being rigid and critical seems like a driver to success, but it isn’t. Learning to be flexible and give ourselves permission to shift between effort & ease is what allows us to excel in a sustainable (happy) way.

It isn’t easy to make that shift with our habits and mindset when we put ourselves at the bottom of the priority list. One of the things I hear from my clients the most is, “I just need to get away from the routine of my life to truly lay the foundation for lasting change.”

How many people will be at the retreat?

Who will be at the retreat?

Will there be opportunity to learn about nutrition?

Yes, absolutely! We will spend time demystifying the myths & confusion around “diets” and I'll help you gain the confidence and trust to eat based on what your body needs, not what someone else tells you to eat.

Is this going to be a fitness retreat?

While there will be opportunities for fitness, people of all fitness types and bodies are encouraged to attend. Every opportunity for movement will allow for modifications or the option to sit out. Although you will be encouraged to participate, you know your body best and I'll ask you to listen to whether it’s fear holding you back or your body.

After I register, what communication will occur before the retreat?

Following your registration, I will be reaching out to you to schedule a quick “get to know you” call. There will also be a private Facebook group for the retreat, where I will provide updates, answer questions and everyone can connect.

What am I getting with my investment?

This includes 2.5 days of transformational goodness! The weekend will be filled with interactive group activities, one-on-one coaching, a support system of like-minded individuals, time for individual work, many many a-ha moments and ample time to create your own action plan that you’ll have with you well beyond the weekend. You aren’t investing in a weekend, you are investing in your next level of success and an action plan to take back for the rest of your life.

Does the cost include food and lodging?

The price reflects the content, activities and coaching that will take place over the weekend, as well as nutritious snacks, breakfast, adult refreshments following yoga and one group dinner. Kelly will be providing a link for a discounted room rate at the hotel upon registering for the retreat.

When should I plan to arrive and leave by?

The first event of the retreat will begin on Friday 10/6 at 2pm so you should plan to be here by then. The retreat will close on Sunday 10/8 by 4:30pm.

Is this refundable?

No, but it is transferrable.
