Northern Nevada has seen a sharp decrease in unemployment, particularly for the light industrial workforce, as the area is quickly becoming a preferred location for warehouse and manufacturing facilities for fast growth and well-established companies. The combination of low unemployment rates and rapid economic growth created an extremely competitive job market and recruiting and retaining top employees had become increasingly difficult.
OUR FOCUSED APPROACH
Our partner, a fast-growth e-commerce company, engaged IntelliSource for their workforce needs at the start of peak season 2015 to recruit, screen, hire and train a high volume of top-talent in this competitive market. Intellisource saved the company time and money in securing a reliable workforce with an attrition rate well below industry averages.
IntelliSource met with leaders in the company to gather information needed to plan a strategic marketing and sourcing process while keeping their customer specific requirements in mind.
IntelliSource conducted face-to-face interviews and skill testings with each candidate to assess skill-set, experience and cultural fit in addition to setting expectations of the position.
On-site Management validated all documentation as well as background and drug screen test results. Candidates were lead on a walkthrough of the facility to assess each candidate's ability to meet the physical requirements of the position. We extended offers to the candidates who passed all assessments.
Our customer thoroughly evaluates the pool of IntelliSource associates for those with excellent safety, quality, attitude and attendance before converting associates to their payroll, resulting in a meager attrition rate and high performing team.
