Our Team
At Suburban Testing Labs, we value team diversity as a key success factor. At every level in every department we have a diverse mix of age, education, background and experience, which we feel allows us to meet the needs of our clients.
Our team is comprised of a balance between experienced professionals plus a robust team of young professionals just entering the industry. You’ll find that most Suburban team members hold a minimum of a 4 year-college degree, even at the entry level. National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit-required testing for wastewater treatment plants is where we excel. We cater to the certified operator’s needs with fast, convenient and specialized testing. In addition to routine Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) management, we can handle your entire industrial pretreatment program, process control, and sludge and biosolids testing. Our business was founded on drinking water testing, and today, it continues to be one of our core services. We analyze drinking water for more than 2 million Americans in our state-of-the-art, full service, 25,000 square foot laboratory and accept samples of all types for drinking water testing, including microbiology, inorganic contaminants, organic contaminants, metals and radiologicals.

Field Sciences
Our team of field scientists and technicians can perform a variety of sampling and on-site analysis. Our focus is to meet diverse customer needs with a knowledgeable and courteous front-line team.
Our team undergoes extensive training in all aspects of sample collection including sampling for various types of drinking water, wastewater, industrial waste, pools, sludge and biosolids. Our highly qualified staff will ensure that your samples are collected, stored properly and transported according to all EPA requirements.
The field services department boasts cutting edge technology and equipment to get the job done, including portable composite samplers and monitoring well sampling equipment. We have a large inventory of portable composite sampling units for sampling in any type of environment, which are also available for renting. Field analysis capabilities include, but are not limited to, pH, chlorine, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, flow rate, and temperature. We maintain high levels of standards for calibration and equipment maintenance to ensure the most accurate results possible.
Avoid costly resampling due to lack of lab communication or partnership oversights by choosing our team. Our project managers and scheduling coordinator will work with you to manage all of your field sampling and analysis needs to make your project a success.
Analysis Reporting
When it comes to environmental compliance, we recognize that you can’t wait for results. We have fast turnaround times, and you’ll have easy access to your live results and final reports using our secure Online Report Access system and automated email system. You can have multiple users receive emails, and have online access to view live results in our system.

Electronic Data Deliverables
We can create custom Electronic Data Deliverables (EDD’s) to meet your needs. Discuss your EDD preferences with your Project Manager when you set up your project with us. We will also automatically email your EDD with your final report and invoice. These documents are also available for your convenience in our online report access system.
QC Data Packages
Data Packages required for data review and submission can also be created according to the needs of your project. Suburban Testing Labs provides reliable data reporting packages to our clients that are clear, easy to understand, and contain all relevant information pertaining to your sample analysis. We offer Level I, II, III, IV and NJ LSRP Reduced Deliverable Data Packages as required by your project. Also, you can contact our technical staff for expert guidance to help you sort through any complicated information. Discuss your QC Data Package needs with your Project Manager when you set up your project with us.
