Dr. Seuss Week

Last week was Dr. Seuss week. We had a ton of fun. We made oobleck, had Seussy snacks, read with the 6th graders, played a book bingo game with a class from Iowa, and much more. Love when we get to have fun weeks like that!

How To Books

We are finished with our How To books! They have turned out so great. I know there are a few kiddos who turned in the videos, but forgot to bring back their books. Remember I need the books to grade, so students will be getting an incomplete until I have both parts back.

St. Baldrick's Foundation

Over the next two weeks our school is going to try and raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. The money will go towards childhood cancer research. This cause is very near and dear to Mrs. McKim's heart, so she has offered up an awesome prize. If our school raises $1000 by Wednesday the 15, Mrs. McKim is going to shave her head in front of the whole school!! If you would like to donate you may send in money to school or donate online by clicking the link I sent out in the email.

This Week

This week we are learning about coins, comparing and contrasting, and contractions. We will also be wrapping up our unit on solids and liquids. On Friday we will have our Purple Pride movie. Overall it should be a fun week!
