Ministry Partnership 2016 review

Looking back at 2016 God's faithful hand is evident all over. It is always so reassuring to know that God is 100% committed, as this is first and foremost His cause! We'd like to share three short highlights from this year.

If we remain faithful in reaching the next generation with the Gospel there will always be hope.
Change the Campus, Change the World

Reaching the next generation has always been a major priority for us as an Every Nation movement. It is incredible to see how students respond to a pure Gospel. As their lives change they become the greatest catalysts to influence their friends, their workplaces, society and the nations of the world!

This year we launched our Every Nation Hatfield congregation placed right in the heart of where the students are! Most of what happens is also run and owned by the students! Read more...

We also launched a student leadership coaching program focused on developing student leaders to reach their full potential and also serve the campuses they are on. This is such a great opportunity for us to make a very practical difference on campus and have proximity to some of the most influential leaders on campus. Read more...

The harvest is ready, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into the harvest.
responding to the rallying call for Europe

This year we made history in sending out our very first missions team to Europe from our Every Nation church in Tshwane. The aim of the mission was to establish an ongoing relationship with the church in Berlin to specifically help reach students at Humboldt University.

The Humboldt is seen as the linchpin of Berlin and the leader of the modern university for Europe. After our first mission we are so excited and expectant for what God will do next! Click here for the short feedback video...

Evangelism training and coaching

One of the things I am extremely passionate about is equipping believers to effectively share the Gospel and reach the people God has called them to reach.

This year we launched a training resource focused on reaching out to atheists. In an ever increasing skeptical culture we need to be prepared for the conversations and worldviews we will face out there.

This year I was asked to join the Every Nation Southern Africa Evangelism team. A group of really dynamic people focused specifically on supporting the local churches to identify, raise and develop evangelists and to see an evangelism culture in that congregation and community.

What to look forward to in 2017?
  • Student leadership coaching | Next year we will continue with our leadership coaching at Centurion Academy. They have also asked us to work with their student leaders at their Klerksdorp Campus as well as a staff session at the Centurion campus. We are trusting for open doors to work with the SRC at Open Window. We will also aim at doing pilot programs at TUKS. Please pray with us into this as this opens up so many doors into reaching and raising the next generation!
  • Engage Training resources | We will continue to develop our Evangelism resources which includes our Engage Training and the module to specifically reach out to atheists. Next year we will also add a new module focused on reaching Muslims. Pray into the development of that resource as we really believe this will have a major impact as we trust God for the harvest!
  • #Berlin2017 | Next year we are sending two mission trips to Berlin to support their campus ministry. One in April and again in October. The response to the call for Europe has been immense. We have a full capacity of 25 people signed up for April and already 13 people interested in October. Please pray specifically for the team in April as we are collectively trusting God for over R400 000. Click here for more on #Berlin2017
Without faith it is impossible to please God. Thank you for putting your faith alongside ours.
Thank you for being a ministry partner and a co-worker with Jesus for His Kingdom.

Without a team of people who believe in us and what God has called us for none of this would be possible. Faith honors God, so thank you for honoring God with your lives and your financial and prayer support in our ministry.

May you and your family be blessed over this holiday season and may you enjoy each other and enjoy God as you enter into His rest!

We love you and appreciate you so much! Jaco & Riëtte
