HookahFair Meets VaporFair New York City – 95% of exhibiting space already sold out!

New York City, NY – November, 10th 2017. Messe Stuttgart Inc., the American subsidiary of Landesmesse Stuttgart, and the event company Projekt 20drei10 GmbH are organizing the trade show for vapor and hookah products gathering the entire community in the New York tristate area. After two successful shows in Frankfurt & Berlin, in Germany this year, the "HookahFair meets VaporFair” takes place at the Resorts World Casino in New York City on December 16 & 17 2017.

With over 95% of the exhibiting space already sold out, the show will be a significant event for consumers, manufacturers, and distributors in the US. With 20,000 attendees and 200 exhibitors at our last show in Europe, the HookahFair meets VaporFair show has long established itself as the world’s premier expo for vape and hookah lifestyles. “The show is a great occasion for the entire industry to meet and take the pulse of the market” continued Aytac B. The lifestyle show will offer attendees the opportunity to sample a wide variety of the latest vaporizers, e-juices and hookah pipes available on the market while learning about new trends within the growing industry. Alex Clark, (Alex Clark, Executive Director, CASAA). Alex Clark is the executive director of The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association (CASAA). As a volunteer and CASAA's first paid, full-time legislative coordinator, Alex has been responsible for the organization's legislative advocacy and grassroots engagement for the past three years. He will be speaking on behalf of consumers to learn how to get involved in advocacy and the latest (as of December 2017) hot-button issues that will affect them. Andrew Osborne is the president and co-founder of Vapor Trail Electronics Inc, which was one of the first vapor retail stores in New York State. He was named co-chairman of the NY chapter of the Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA) in 2015 and was elected to the national board of SFATA in 2016. Currently, Andrew is the Vice-President of the New York State Vapor Association (NYSVA). Prior to entering the vapor products industry, Andrew had extensive experience working with the FDA and other government agencies and he received a federal license in customs brokerage. Deanna Clark-Esposito is the Managing Attorney of the New York City based Clark-Esposito Law Firm, P.C., a boutique firm rooted in assisting domestic and foreign companies with matters involving US federal laws including, the FDA and “Tobacco Products” (e-cigs/e-liquids/hookah, etc.), US Customs and imports, and Dept. of Commerce and OFAC on exports. She will be presenting on “Making Sense of FDA’s ‘Tobacco Products’ Compliance Framework” where she will provide an overview of current obligations, deadlines, and what is on the horizon for the vape industry in terms of FDA regulations and compliance. Deanna will also be offering 20 min. one-on-one sessions for additional discussion with exhibitors and attendees alike. Gregory Conley is the president of the American Vaping Association (AVA), a nonprofit organization that champions regulatory policies toward vapor products designed to maximize the effectiveness of vaping for quitting smoking. He is one of the most prominent defenders of vaping in the United States and has appeared on CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC. In addition to his work with the AVA, Mr. Conley is an attorney and a consultant on vaping legislative and regulatory issues. He began working on vaping issues in 2010 after quitting smoking with a vapor product while in law school. He served as the pro bono legislative director for the Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association from 2011 to 2014

April is the owner of Northeast Vapor Supplies, LLC, located in Connecticut and has been in the vapor business since 2012, after spending years in the corporate business world. In early 2013, she appeared at her first local vapor-related public hearing and shortly afterwards founded her home state's local chapter of Smoke Free Alternatives Trade Association, Inc. (SFATA), serving as Co-President for two years. April vacated that role this past January to assume her new role for national SFATA as Board President. She works to maintain vaper's rights federally by participating in SFATA's Fly-ins on Capitol Hill. She helped launch SFATA members' FDA Support Group page and presented an educational seminar on FDA product registration at the 2016 SFATA Annual Conference. She also co-chaired Connecticut's SFATA chapter's annual fundraising event, CT Vapor Trail, and supports SFATA at trade shows through educational booths. April is extreme in her passion for the vapor industry and for her work for SFATA. She works tirelessly in the service of both, often spending more hours each week in volunteer service than on her own business.

Michael Frennier has been in the business world for more than 35 years in ownership, partnership and management. He has always enjoyed the world of business and all its challenges and has greatly enjoyed creating jobs. He developed his business skills in building a company's process and its procedures as well as building its team by allowing members to flourish. Now as the General Manager of a 12 store eCig company, Unique eCigs, with almost 50 employees, along with being the President of New York Vapor Association Inc., he focuses his efforts on working with a great team at the NYSVA to save the vaping industry in New York.

Cynthia Cabrera has been an integral part of the vapor space beginning in 2011 as VP of Compliance & Logistics for VMR Products, then Executive Director of the Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association and now as founder and president of the Cating Group.

She is a frequent speaker on business trends, regulatory legislative issues, and the future of the vapor industry. As an avid supporter of harm reduction technologies like smoke-free nicotine products, Cynthia has presented for The Tobacco Merchants Association (TMA), The Global Tobacco Nicotine Forum (GTNF), the Global Forum on Nicotine (GFN), The Food & Drug Law Institute (FDLI,), The Responsible Retailers Forum (RRF), ECIG USA, the Morven Dialogues and at a variety of vapor shows and exhibits.

Cynthia appeared on Fox Business, CNN Español, NBC, CBS, AP News and has been quoted in the Washington Post, The New York Times & The Wall Street Journal.

Spike has a Masters in Psychology from Adelphi University. A former adjunct professor at Mercy College in NYC, she has been using e-cigarettes since 2008 and founded National Vapers Club, the first consumer group for e-cigarette users, in 2009.

She co-authored the first peer reviewed paper in the US on vapor toxicity (McAuley et al. 2012 http://informahealthcare.com/doi/abs/10.3109/08958378.2012.724728).

In 2011, she opened VapeNY, an e-cigarette retail shop and has grown to four NYC locations and has day to day contact with tens of thousands of vapor product consumers. She has consulted with hundreds of politicians, researchers and media outlets regarding e-cigarettes for more than 8 years to educate academia, scientists and the public on vapor product use and safety.
