Preparing the Next Generation A proposal for a career prepration program to be implemented in Charles County Public Middle Schools

With the aid of counselors and teachers, a career preparation program will equip students with various tools and career field information necessary to choose a field that will interest and benefit each individual.
For many students, receiving a college education may seem virtually impossible for a variety of reasons. A few reasons students deem college as impossible include: financial troubles, doubt of ability, discouraging friends or family members, and improper information of expectations.

With the extensive education of multiple career fields and open access to various preparation tools, students will learn the formal steps to schooling after high school.

Education is a key factor in every career field. With a strong career preparation program, students will not only be given encouragement to attend college after high school, but also informed of the necessity of higher education and the steps vital to achieving their overall career goal.
Each student involved will benefit from the career preparation program and each future will be impacted immensely with goals of success and nothing less.
