Apple Classroom Manager
For teachers: You should have received an email by now with your username and temporary password for Apple Classroom. The link is below to bookmark (website). Congrats to Zach, Kelly, and Dave for already logging in! We know there are issues with the app right now. I've let Jerri Kemble know, as well as requesting more PD on setting up and using this. She's working on it! IF you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with another new tool and expectation, it's okay to press pause. We'll work on providing time as a building to learn more about Apple Classroom and get set up.
Note: Last Thursday (1/12), your students received an email with their Managed Apple ID and password.
Wednesday Collaboration this Week!
We are working with IT to provide some more professional learning on Apple Classroom. This is a designated time pending we have answers to get accounts set up and learn how to use this new feature!
ALSO, as part of our Thriving Culture focus, I've secured pass codes for all staff to take the Gallup Strengthfinder Inventory.
What is the Gallup Strengthsfinder?? Gallup research proves that people succeed when they focus on what they do best. When they identify their talents and develop them into strengths, people are more productive, perform better, and are more engaged.
Gallup's Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment is the first step in helping people identify their talents. Clifton StrengthsFinder results give people a way to discuss and develop their unique combination of skills, talents, and knowledge -- also known as strengths. This inventory will identify YOUR top 5 strengths!
WHY? Because we want to recognize, learn about, and value one another's strengths and contributions! Jolene will be sending individuals passcodes and instructions to take the inventory. We will then come together as a staff on a later collaboration date to learn more about our Strengths and how your individual results add to our building team! Please take about 20-30 minutes of collaboration time to take your Strengthsfinders Inventory! No, this is not another initiative! It's a way for our building to identify and celebrate the unique contributions we bring to our teams and staff culture. :)
Also, on Wednesday Building Leadership Team Meeting, Conference Rm 2pm-3pm
Next Wednesday, February 1st is 3rd Quarter's Targeted Curriculum Collaboration district wide. Feel free to start planning ahead with district colleagues to meet if you have agendas and items to discuss district wide.
Heads Up: Your Ci3T team will soon be asking for your expertise in joining a Ci3T subcommittee! (example: Incentives, Advisory Lessons, Interventions, etc.) More to come, but be thinking about your skill set and how you can contribute!
