The American Revolution Written by: Lisa frederiksen Bohannon

Who

The American Revolution was between the United States and Great Britain. The most important leaders were George Washington(United States) and Sir Jeffrey Amherst(Great Britain). The most famous person during the war was Paul Revere. He became famous because he alerted the Patriots of the British soldiers approaching them at Lexington and Concord.

United States vs Great Britain

What

The reason why the The American Revolution started was because Great Britain was controlling the United States. Great Britain's rules were very strict and harsh. They also forced the US to pay taxes for them to get tea. This led to the Boston Tea Party which was an event that Americans raid tea ships and destroyed all the tea boxes. This was the major cause of the American Revolution.

I

I learned a lot about this book about the American Revolution. I find it interesting how America rebelled against the British in order to claim freedom. I think this book made by Lisa Frederiksen Bohannon, explains a lot about the American Revolution. I think the American Revolution was the most important war and it is one of my favorite wars to learn about.

This picture shows Francis Scott Key the writer of America's national anthem "The Star Spangled Banner."
I hope you enjoyed my report on the American Revolution :)
