What dangers do you see as a person stranded on this deserted island. Be specific and explain your answers. dangers are is if you are climbing up a mountain and you fall and break your leg and you bleed out and you have nothing to treat it and your friend is not there to help you.Worst case is you die. Then if you are fishing in a lake and there is no fish you could die of starvation. If you are walking around trying to forge and you eat a poison mushroom and then you get sick and die. you are trying to build a shelter and you are trying to get wood for it and then your you hurt your arm doing it and you can't do anything for a while. If you are walking around to find food and you get bit by a snake and it is poisonous you probably will have nothing to treat it and you will die.You could get bit by a insect and get some disease and get really sick and then die. if you do not find any fresh water you will die of dehydration.

Create a list of characters from the novel The Lord of the Flies and add details about them using textual evidence from the novel.

Ralph is the leader and makes the rules

piggy whines a lot

Type the rules we created as a classroom from the board. This is something we will return to. In the meantime, pick the rule you find most important (from the ones we created) and explain why that rule, above all others is most important on this island.

1.Travel in 2t 2. don't go out in the dark 3. share resources 4.clean up after your self 5.communicate effectively 6. do your job 7. do not kill each other

I think that do your job is important because if you do not do your job it hurts your survival

One of the themes of this novel is survival. Explain why the setting of this story adds to or contributes to the theme.

it adds because you know what they have do and what there problem is or they are facing.

Ralph has said, “This is a good island” (Golding 35). Ralph’s pronouncement will prove ironic; it is definitely NOT a good island. What problems do readers already know about? Explain why these problems prove this is NOT a good island after all.

it is not a good island because the are stuck there all a lone and the creepers cut them is hard to hunt for them because the do not have guns.

Describe the Beast that seems to be stalking the island. Use the text as backup for your info.

the beast that seems to be stalking island is a beast that comes from the water and walks on the land in the dark.

Name at least two things the boys are doing or have given up that show how they are now operating on instinct and no longer trying to follow the rules of society. Explain your answers with information from the text.

one example that the boys are now running on instinct is when the know there is a monster the want to hunt it so it does not hurt them and the don't ever want to go out when it is dark so that is why the run on instinct.

Two rituals people are most familiar with are weddings and funerals. Pick an event (a wedding or a funeral). Make a list of at least 3 phrases people use at the event you picked. Using one of your phrases, explain why your phrase is helpful in the situation.

3 phrases people use at a wedding is I do,do you take him as your husband and exchange rings.i do is helpful because

Choose a character, either Ralph or Jack and explain the effect seeing the Beast has on the character you have chosen. Use textual information to support your answer.

characters in survival will react different then others and will and some will fear of something or will have ta. After seeing the beast jack said ''we aren't going to bother about the beast"(Golding 133) and then the all agree with jack to forget the beast. he gave a gift to it that was a pig head so it might not come to them kind of like a sacrifice.

In life people create groups. These groups might be at school, in sports, in extracurricular activities, and through religious organizations. Explain what needs groups fill for people. Explain both the positive and negative aspects of being part of a group. You may relate this to our novel, or you may make it a person reflection of your own experience.

groups can be positive or negative like sports can be positive but it can be negative like you not doing your homework buts it has its pros and cons it just depends. I played football and we had different groups like linemen,Qb and Wr and we would practice different things and it was positive.

“This is a good island”(Golding 35)

I choose this pic and “This is a good island” (Golding 35) quote because in the whole book you see that it gets worst and worst.Early in the book everyone followed Ralph and pick him as chief and the all listen to him and the conch. Later in the book it got worst like when the fire got out control and the kid with the mulberry colored birthmark died in the fire. Then later jack left the group and a few other people left with him because they like hunting then rescue and they killed a pig and they invited them to eat then had ritual around the fire and killed Simon. After that it was only Ralph,Piggy and the twins.see it gets worst but it gets even more because piggy dies because of Jack. So really this not a good island so this why i choose “This is a good island” (Golding 35).

I think that was one the best books I read because I like how it was about survival and early in the book they were all civilize and then jack and them become savages.
