The sleepy citrus-growing town of Orlando had become the "Action Center of Florida," and the fastest-growing city in the state.

The most crushing blow Adam Gorlitsky absorbed came three weeks after he fell asleep at the wheel. Doctors at a spinal-cord rehabilitation center in Atlanta told Gorlitsky, 19 at the time, told him that he never would walk again. Eleven Years later, the paraplegic is in Central Florida doing what was unthinkable not so long ago. He is participating in the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. With the help of robotic technology called an exoskeleton, Gorlitsky walked portions of the 5 kilometer race thursday and the 10k event Friday.
