Wishing you the best for 2017 From Francie Kelley, Colleen Fennessy and Quentin Fennessy

Dear family and friends,

We wish you all the best for 2017.

We enjoyed many visits with friends and family this year, including Marsha and Christie Raynor in February and Amanda and Rob Garcia in July, (Q’s cousins). Colleen brought Hunter Call, Shane Grzegorczyk, Zach Hutcheson, and Jacob Herrin home for college break and we had a good time and a full house. Gabe Colombo also visited during his intern stint in Boston.

Colleen is halfway through her senior year. She served as rehearsal and pit pianist for the student production of Kiss Me Kate earlier in the year, which was inconveniently scheduled during a multi-state snowstorm disaster. Good luck allowed us to get to Williamsburg on time and enjoy the show. Colleen will be the vocal director for the 2017 student production, Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera The Sorcerer, to be performed in January. No snow disaster is planned.

Colleen spent part of the summer studying at the National University of Ireland, Galway. This allowed Colleen to visit with some of our Galway cousins-Sarah and Mike Naughton and Maureen and Fiona Conneely, and to explore both the Republic and Northern Ireland.

When classes were completed in Galway she toured parts of England, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland with her wing man, Clint Roscoe. No rental cars were harmed in the filming of this buddy movie.

Francie continues as executive director of the Celiac Kids Connection, part of the Boston Children’s Hospital. http://www.celiackidsconnection.org/

Quentin joined Accenture, a global professional services company this year. His job search was eased by the advice and assistance provided by friends and family. This is a DevOps Architecture consultant position - a new kind of job for Q.

Colleen’s a cappella group Cleftomaniacs toured the northeast in October. We attended one of their concerts at Tufts, and hosted a small concert in our family room. If you enjoyed “The Muppets Take Manhattan” you may enjoy this brief video: https://tinyurl.com/CleftoTour2016

Sadly this year we said goodbye to Quentin’s godfather Eamon Fennessy, Aunt Ann Burke and our dear friend and Austin neighbor Brady Henricks.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year,

Love
