- Tuesday - 15th: Spirit Days! Halloween (please no face mask or paint). School Board Meeting at District Office 6:30 PM, CAHPS Site Showcase.
- Wednesday - 16th: NO SCHOOL. Conferences All Day. College Night for Juniors and Seniors 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM In Student Center.
- Thursday - 17th: NO SCHOOL. Conferences All Day.
- Friday - 18th: NO SCHOOL. Conferences All Morning. Homecoming Football Game 7:00 PM vs. Ashland - White Out! Homecoming Dance 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
There is still time to sign up for a conference slot! If you take a class in BIS or REN, please contact their offices to schedule a conference. Please let us know if you need help signing up, call Emily Wilson, in the CAHPS office at 541-494-6338.
RCC Latino Services would like to invite Latino Juniors and Seniors to the EMO - Educacion, un Mundo de Oportunidades-event! This conference will be on November 15, 2019 from 8:30 to 2:30pm. Come get motivated, hear from speakers and engage in workshops to learn how to make the dream of college a reality! See Mrs. Williamson, room 58, for permission slips and help registering.
The State of Jefferson High School Scavenger Hunt competition this year will be November 5, 6, and 7 with adjudication at SOU on November 13th. Students can sign up in room 20 of Hall C.
Do you need free or reduced lunch? If you have not signed up, your carry-over benefits will expire on Oct. 16. If you do not have a new application in place you will have to pay for your meals. Applications can be found at the office or at this link:

Need help with classes? Our fantastic staff has carved out meeting times to help out! Ms Merritt: M-Thur after school. Ms Derry: before school or at lunch by appointment. Ms Martes: Tue & Thurs after school (especially before a Friday test!) or before school and lunch by appointment.

Community Service Opportunities
Jewett Elementary Fall Carnival needs volunteers! The event takes place October 25th and volunteers are needed 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM. Sign-up sheets are in the main office.
Ms. Jaquette from the District Office is looking for 4-5 students to provide child care during a Community Night at Jewett Elementary. The event is on Monday, Nov. 4th, from 5:30-7:30. They will be serving pizza and providing day care for ages 3-10. Day care will start at 6. Please email Jacquie.jaquette@district6.org.
Just Scream Haunted House is having it's 13th annual fundraiser for Southern Oregon Humane Society. We are looking for student volunteers who would like to join us in scaring the public for a terrific cause. All students will receive community service hours for their service.
