Democrats breathlessly chasing the Russian narrative with the Trump campaign have proven to be "hypocrites" with respect to proven evidence of their ties to Chinese espionage, Ric Grenell said Saturday during an appearance on Newsmax TV.

"What we do know is Russia is a problem, but China is a crisis," Grenell told Saturday's "America Right Now." "Eric Swalwell has spent years downplaying the China problem, and I think that's the heart of what is happening here.

"I'll also go so far as to say I'm very concerned as a Californian that something's happened in San Francisco.

She's telling people in the very beginning to go out, and 'this is not a big deal,' to go into Chinatown."
