This is the Day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it! Why? Because this is “My Receiving Day!” If the Lord made the day, since He is still creating, He can make what I need in this day. That is what happened to a sick woman 2,000 years ago as Jesus was walking down the street. She said, “If I can but touch the hem of His garment I shall...!” That day, she set herself by faith and said, in essence, “This is My Receiving Day!” We have been preaching and telling her story ever since. That day, as the power flowed out of Jesus into her sick body, a street full of people were touching and thronging Him. Though it is not recorded that any of the throng received, that same day became her Receiving Day in the middle of the chaos. After 12 long years of debilitating sickness, Jesus turned to her and said, “Daughter, thy FAITH hath made you whole.” Do you see it? She worked on that inner image until she was so persuaded it could not turn out any other way that her faith set her receiving moment. As it has been said before, if her faith can make her whole, then your faith can make you whole. Glory to God! This is “The Day” the Lord hath made! Now, rejoice and be glad, because this can be your “Receiving Day!” He is the same yesterday, and TODAY, and forever. As the Scripture says, “Now is the accepted time, [TODAY] Now is the day of salvation and deliverance” 2 Corinthians 6:2 (emphasis mine).

Jesus, teaching concerning faith is so clear, direct, life-changing, and liberating. Not only can everyone have this faith that does the impossible, but your faith can set the time of reception. Look in Mark 11:22-25 at how clear Jesus is concerning any individuals access to and ability to operate in faith:

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Jesus not only said we can “have” faith, but that “whosoever” can have faith. Friend, that includes you! Then He is clear about what the faith that you have in your heart right now can do. It can make this day your receiving day. How? Because our faith sets the “when.” When is a time word. Notice the “when” we receive is not on God’s end of the agreement, the “when” is on our end. When we believe that we receive, we shall have. Do you see it? RECEIVING IS HAVING, and WHEN we believe we receive it is WHEN we HAVE it. Look at this verse in John 6:47:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Do you see it? Believing is having. He that Believeth, HATH! When you believe it, you have the thing you are believing for. When you believe you receive it, that is when you have it - not when you see it! That is your when. That is your receiving day. Partner, make today your receiving day!

Everything in the kingdom must be received, and all kingdom things are received by faith. Although the power of God is always available and flowing around us all the time, even power must be received. The Apostle John, who, by the way, was there when the fish and loaves multiplied in his hands among all the other great creative miracles in our Lord’s ministry, said it this way under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (John 1:12):

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

Power is available to “as many as...”, but it must be received. How do we receive power? Through faith! Power to become whatever you as a child of God should be is available to “as many as” believe on His Name. Power is transferred by faith. Look at these verses and allow your faith to rise to transfer the power you need to accomplish what looks impossible:

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. (Acts 1:8)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation (deliverance) to everyone who believes. (Romans 1:16)

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power. (Ephesians 1:19)

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:5)

You can see that everything in the kingdom still has to be received, even power. The power of God, just because it is present, won’t change anything unless it is received by faith. So, we MUST develop faith in the power of God. There must be a receiver, and that woman with the issue of blood was a receiver. She made that day her receiving day.

Years ago, I learned from the Prophet Kenneth E. Hagin that two primary things affect the level of manifestation of the miraculous. These two things affect the level of manifestation in the healing realm (or any other supernatural realm for that matter):

1. The degree of Healing/Miracle Anointing that is in operation or manifestation. i.e.,“The Anointing Administered”

2. The degree of faith that is present and released to activate that power.

Child of God, release your faith today! Make this day your receiving day - the Day the Lord has made. Creative miracles are happening in every meeting we are privileged to minister in around this great nation. Hope to see you in one of those meetings soon. Thank you for helping us take this powerful Gospel to the ends of the earth. Till next month. BE BLESSED!

Speeding the Seed!
