the Virginia Headwaters Council will be holding the 2020 Cub Fun Day & Rocket Launch Event at Camp Shenandoah on Saturday, October 24th from 1pm to 4pm

are you a newly registered scout?

All first time Scouts that have registered in 2020 will receive a FREE model rocket at check-in to launch during Cub Fun Day festivities.

If you would like to shoot your rockets more than once, extra engines will be sold for $2 each.

Did you get to race your pinewood derby in 2020?

Pinewood derby comes to cub fun day

All Cub Scouts are encouraged to bring their Pinewood Derby Cars. We will have a track set up and will be holding a race.

Pinewood Derby Race:

Each car will be ran on each lane. The overall average speed of the cars will determined and the fastest car will win a prize.

Do you like carving pumpkins?

Scouts!

Bring your carved pumpkins to Cub Fun Day to have your fellow Scouts vote on the best design

*Remember, you must carve your own pumpkin, not your parents

COVID-19 SAFETY AND INFORMATION

To ensure that the safety and protection for all patrons and volunteers, we will be following the recommendations from our health experts and the Virginia Headwaters Council COVID-19 protocols. Masks must be worn at all times during Cub Day Camp. All visitors to Cub Fun Day will sign the VAHC COVID-19 Waiver at check-in. The safety of our volunteers and youth is our number one priority.
