My Credo By Jillian Magnus

I have learned many different lessons in life, but the ones that have really impacted me, are the ones that have taught me that bettering myself and helping others, every day, will help me live a happier life. I believe that in order to live a full, fun life, I need to follow these rules:
Treat others the way you want to be treated
Be kind to everyone, always
Stick up for yourself, but do it without hurting others
Always tell the truth
Love yourself, everyday
Be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be
Always try to be better than you were yesterday
Work hard, and have fun while doing it
Set goals and strive to accomplish them
Never give up on something you feel strongly about
Listen to your body, and take care of yourself
Never judge a book by its cover
Be friendly with everyone you meet
Don’t let little things bring you down
Mind your own business, and don’t try to make other people’s problems, your problems
Let things go
Don’t let others keep you from being happy
Count your blessings, not your disappointments or mistakes
Enjoy life, and everything it has to offer you
I believe in all of these rules, and I try my absolute best to follow them, and so far, I’ve had a pretty good life. I have learned many of these things from my friends, and my family, and some I have even learnt from strangers. I think that loving yourself, and caring about others just as much as you care about yourself, really brings out the best in life.
